I bought theses shoes about six months ago. They are comfortable, they're light, they look great. Here's the down side... Unfortunately, the straps are coming unglued from the velcro. These are premium shoes, I find it terrible that they are coming undone after a short while. I ride about two to three times a week. Not too hard.
I decided to buy the shoes that I really wanted and I'll keep these for spinning. They only have three holes in the sole, so I'll have to buy a cleat adapter to fasten SPDs.
Also when I first received the shoes, they had a terribly strong chemical smell, it smelled up my apartment. It's smells like what I would imagine a Chinese factory smells like, a mixture of chemicals, fish and burnt rubber.

Pearl Izumi 2008/09 Women's Tri Fly II Triathon Cycling Shoe - White/Black - 5733-509 Review

Because these are my first pair and I don't have much to compare them to, take my review with a grain of salt. But so far these shoes have been comfortable, even barefoot, and have made my pedaling more efficient and smooth. They are very light and I think they look great, too. They are SPD-SL compatible only, and don't come with cleats or anything, which is standard for these shoes. The fastenings open away from your bike so it doesn't interfere with your chain, and there is a loop on the heel to help pull them on. I haven't raced in them yet, just training, but I will let you know how it goes!

Tubus Cosmo Rack Review

Tubus Cosmo Rack
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Tubus makes quality products all accross the board. I was on a longish bike tour last year, and the no-name rear rack I had was very flimsy and shifted around under load. I purchased this rack on the road. Although it is expensive, it is of top notch quality, and the load was as solid as the Rock of Gibraltar.
I have Ortlieb Bike Packer Plus panniers and they fit like gloves on this rack.
One note of caution, is that mine did not come with a rear flasher - as I see displayed on the picture here on Amazon.

This design moves the rear panniers aft and down slightly, providing additional heel clearance. If you occasionally clip your panniers with your heels, you might want to consider this rack.

MKS EZY MM-Cube Clipless Mtn Pedal "SPD" Style. Review

MKS EZY MM-Cube Clipless Mtn Pedal SPD Style.
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bicycle everyday and have the MKS pedals on three folding bikes. I use both the standard pedal and the SPD version of the MKS pedals depending on what shoes I want to wear when riding. If I'm just commuting, I use the flat pedals. If I'm going out for a longer ride, I switch to the SPD. Switching pedals takes about 5 seconds. It's a really great design.
On my non-folding bikes, I have pedals that are a combination of SPD on one side and standard on the other that I got at Performance Bicycles. They are fine and less expensive, though I prefer the MKS pedals.

Mont Blanc Powder Top 6-Ski/Snowboard Roof Mount Rack Review

Mont Blanc Powder Top 6-Ski/Snowboard Roof Mount Rack
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this ski rack for my 2007 FJ Cruiser, specifically because it was priced right at the time I found it($85) and I found out that the manufacturer of this ski rack is the same manufacturer of the FJ Cruiser OEM roof rack. I like Thule and Yakima's racks, but I could not find a similar product new in box for the same price.
Since the FJ's roofrack crossbars are wider than most roof rack crossbars, I bought these based on the photos of the universal mounts that I saw, which looked like they would fit the wider crossbars and they did.
The instructions that were included showed old mounting hardware, but the installation is fairly straightforward. I've used the rack so far on two trips into the Colorado Rockies , holding 2 pairs of skis with no problems at all. I experienced some slight whistling noises at speeds over 65mph, but some minor adjustments to the skis appeared to fix it.
And the end of the day, the locking clips were a little difficult to open, but that may have been due to cold weather. I'll leave them unclipped for the day. A little WD-40 may fix that. A very minor issue. Returning home, the clips worked fine.
The only minor complaint is that the rack limits my clearance. I barely fit in my garage (without skis) and my best clearance is estimated at 7'2", although I haven't measured to confirm. Keep that in mind if you're driving a taller SUV or truck
Two keys came included with the racks and both racks can be locked.
Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it.

Carry any type of snowboard or skis--with or without ski bags--with the Swagman Powder Top 6 ski and snowboard rack. The Top 6 holds a half dozen pairs of skis or three snowboards, so you can easily head to the mountain with a group of friends piled into the car. Users who currently own base racks from Thule, Yakima, or OEM will dig the Top 6's universal mounts, which work with all three brands. And once you arrive at the mountain, the rack's oversized release lever makes opening a snap, even with a thick pair of gloves on your hands. As a final bonus, the rack includes a durable locking system that protects your gear should you leave the car unattended. So hit the slopes in style with the Swagman Top 6 ski/snowboard rack.

Timex Ironman T5J985 Unisex Trail Runner Bodylink Heart Rate Monitor Watch Review

Timex Ironman T5J985 Unisex Trail Runner Bodylink Heart Rate Monitor Watch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have used Timex Ironman watches for the last 20+ years for tracking running splits while training for local 10k races, so I am used to the format. The format for the Trail Runner watch is total different due to its additional features of the GPS and Heart Rate monitor. Even with these new features, it is still easy to use.
It has the ability to show you 3 different lines of realtime date that you can select from while in the Chonograph mode. You can watch heart rate, speed, distance, pace, lap time, split time, etc. what ever you desire. The middle line of the screen is larger than the top or bottom data line, so you can even toggle what data is provided in that line for better viewability while running. It comes with a bike attachment for Triathalon training so you can mount to handle bars instead of looking down at your wrist all the time.
The GPS is very accurate for tracking distance even under heavy trees. If you are using the belt clip versus the arm band for the GPS module, then you may find that accuracy may vary slightly due to being covered up by your shirt while running. When I tuck in my shirt just above the belt clip on my hip, then the GPS is precisely accurate each and every time. I have not used the arm band yet, but I imagine that would solve this problem. You can hit the mode button a couple of times while running to get to the Finish mode, and the watch will predict your finish time based on how far you told the watch you run will be -- extremely helpful for hitting target times while training, trying to hit a qualifying time for a road race, or hitting a personal best or finish time for a race.
The GPS module takes about 1 to 2 minutes to link up with the satellites, so you need to give it that time before you begin your run. The heart rate monitor is awesome and 100% accurate - I tested it for accuracy against another HR monitor. I also checked the speed mode on the GPS (shows MPH) against 3 cars to see how accurate, and again 100% accurate even at 50 and 60 MPH. Weight wise, the GPS module is so light even with the 1 AA battery, that you dont even notice its there. The watch itself is not any larger than some of my other large Timex Ironman watches and is also extremely light weight. I also ordered the new version of the Data Recorder (weighs as much as a ping pong ball), but I have not used it yet in the three weeks I've owned the Watch kit and Data Recorder. The info that comes with the Data Recorder shows that they have not updated the software program for you computer to be compatible with Windows Vista. I checked online at Timex.com, and they didn't show an update to the software yet to download the week that I received the Data Recorder, but it looks like a great addition to the package that I should and will start using shortly.
All in all, I'm extremely pleased with this watch and how it is helping me to improve my running. I love being able to go out the door and just run until the watch tells me I've hit my half way point on distance so that I can turn around and head home. If you can afford this watch, you will not be sorry at all!!

100-lap memory with recall of Bodylink system data

100-hour, 3-mode countdown timer
5 alarms for daily, weekday, weekend or weekly with 5-minute backup

The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function. The watch is water resistant to 50 meters (165 feet)--suitable for swimming but not for diving--and the GPS sensor is splash resistant. All Timex heart rate monitor sensors have batteries that can be replaced by consumers without requiring them to be returned to the manufacturer.
